In my 20s, I was diagnosed with lipedema, a condition where fat builds up in certain areas of the body like the legs, hips, and arms. It’s often misunderstood and can be painful and discouraging, especially when typical approaches to weight loss don’t help. Living with lipedema taught me that our health is about so much more than calories or numbers on a scale. It’s about understanding our hormones, emotions, and the stories our bodies are trying to tell us.

When I started having children, everything I had learned became even more personal. The hormonal changes of pregnancy and postpartum deeply affected my body, and I had to find my own rhythm again. Through a lot of research, reflection, and grace, I discovered what worked best for me.
